Release of an announcement according to Article 26, Section 1 of the WpHG [the German
Securities Trading Act] with the objective of Europe-wide distribution

On July 13, 2007, Highclere International Investors Limited London, United Kingdom has informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on Silicon Sensor
International AG, Berlin, Deutschland, ISIN
: DE0007201907, WKN: 720190, have fallen below the
threshold of 3 % on July 11, 2007 and now amount to 2.72 % (this corresponds to 105878 Voting
Rights in relation to a total of 3,893,650).

According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 2.72 % of the Voting Rights (this
corresponds to 105,878 Voting Rights) is to be attributed to the company from Highclere International
Investors Smaller Companies Fund.

Furthermore, on July 13,2007, Highclere International Investors Smaller Companies Fund, Westport,
USA has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights
on Silicon Sensor International AG, Berlin, Deutschland, ISIN: DE0007201907, WKN: 720190, have
fallen below the threshold of 3 % on July 11, 2007 and now amount to 2.72 % (this corresponds to
105,878 Voting Rights in relation to a total of 3,893,650).
