First Sensor capital increase completed

First Sensor AG successfully completed a capital increase of 3,217,074 shares with an exercise price of €10.00 per share and retroactive entitlement to dividend as of January 1, 2011. The Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board consider the high subscription interest even above the individual subscription rights as a sign of confidence in the future development of First Silicon AG. Shares not directly subscripted by shareholders were offered interested shareholders as an additional purchase option at the original purchase price.

The funds raised by this increase in the amount of €32.2 million will be spent to finance the purchase of 100 % of the shares of the Sensortechnics Group. Thus, the purchase will be closed soon.

By this purchase First Sensor Group will be much better stay a stabil and reliable partner for their customers, expecially relevant in single source supplier situations. The Board of Directors consider the increasing number of request of potentially new customer in the last few weeks as an affirmation of the chosen direction.
