Dirk Schäfer

After beginning his university education in industrial engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt in 1994, Dirk Schäfer received his diploma in 2001. At the beginning of his career, he worked in Group Controlling at Freudenberg GmbH & Co. KG in Weinheim, Germany. In 2003, he became Head of Controlling (Accounting and IT) at Freudenberg NOK Mechatronics GmbH & Co. KG. Dirk Schäfer moved to TE Connectivity Germany GmbH, Bensheim, Germany, in 2007, initially as Financial Manager, from 2013 to 2014 as Pricing Manager (Automotive EMEA) and from 2014 as Senior Manager Commercial Finance (Automotive EMEA) and since 2021 as Director Project Controlling Automotive EMEA at TE Connectivity Germany GmbH. Dirk Schäfer has been Director Controller, Sub Region Central Europe Germany and Austria since 2023.
