Power electronics

Power electronics covers all applications in which a conversion of electrical energy takes place. The range of applications stretches from DC/DC converters, frequency converters, heating element modules and high-performance light sources right up to actuator-electronics such as valve actuators or complex engine drive control systems. The discharge and distribution of electrical losses (thermal management) and as high a current carrying capacity as possible are of decisive importance for the reliability of these electronic assemblies.

First Sensor Lewicki has over 50 years’ experience in the development and manufacture of highly reliable electronics, discrete power semiconductors such as power transistors and complete modules of integrated electronic assemblies for use in industry, medical technology, and aerospace. We will accompany you from the initial idea, creating prototypes and qualification samples right up to mass production. The assemblies can be tested and qualified in-house with regard to optics, mechanics, electrics and environmental friendliness in accordance with the usual standards (IPC, MIL, RTCA, ESCC) or customer-specific test regulations. We have been certified as an assembly and test house (ATH) for power MOSFETs by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) since 2014.
